Coast Trip!

Hello everyone! Got a lot of updating to do!

First, I graduated!!! I am officially a GVN. Now comes the part where I start studying so that I can take the NCLEX which is the state exam to become licensed so I can officially start to work as a nurse. I am hoping that I will get into a hospital, but they are starting to stop hiring LVN's in the hospital, however some are still hiring, so I'm hoping I can get in before they are totally banned. I will be starting school again August 28th, however, thank goodness, it will only be Monday's and Wednesdays! Much better schedule. I will start applying for RN programs in January, and hopefully won't have to wait very long to get in to a program. I feel like the end is so close, yet so far away. We still have one year left of RN school to be considered at a stopping point, and I can take a breather. A lot of people believe I should take a break, however, we want to expand our family, and don't want to do so until I am done with school. Another thing is, right now Preston is little, therefore he won't remember Mommy being gone very much, therefore I am trying to take this time to knock school out as fast as I can. I am also in a good groove of things, and Jason and I both believe this is what will be best for the family.

Next!!! We are now on a MUCH NEEDED family vacation with Jason's family. I can't tell you how much I was looking forward to these few days to get away and regroup. I really needed it! Preston actually is enjoying the beach this year, which is beyond exciting! Here are some pictures for you to see for yourself :)

Ive been working on my photography, which is why I swear one day Preston is going to believe his mommy was never at any family event, however, she was the one always behind the camera! Ill have to teach Jason and his family how to take pictures with my camera one of these days so that I can get some with me in it as well!

Preston is getting bigger and bigger, he is almost a 30 pound big boy. I swear everyday, unless you knew he was a premie and in the NICU, you would have no idea just looking at him anymore. He's so smart, strong, brave, strong willed, and many other things. He's counting, naming his colors, singing the alphabet, and many other things. His favorite things are Mickey Mouse, and Elmo of course. His favorite food is anything pasta! We are so thankful to have him part of our lives, and couldn't imagine life without him. We wouldn't have it any other way! Hope you enjoy the pictures. We got family pics done this weekend too, so I will post those as soon as I get them :)
